MDPI Singapore is pleased to participate in the Harbin Institute of Technology and Centre for Governance and Sustainability Forum with a dedicated Academic Publishing Workshop on 12 August 2026.
Designed for postgraduate students, early-career researchers, and academics, the workshop will provide practical guidance on key aspects of the publication journey, including manuscript preparation, reasons for rejection at pre-check, and how to respond to peer review.

MDPI Speakers:
![]() | Dr. Steven Moay completed his PhD in materials science at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in August 2024. His research focused on the valorisation of human hair keratin for burn-wound treatments. Since joining MDPI in May 2023, Dr. Moay has served as both an Assistant Editor and a Section Managing Editor for the journal Bioengineering. He has actively participated in numerous workshops, sharing his knowledge and experience with students and scholars alike. |
![]() | Dr. Nicolette Yau completed her PhD in pharmacy at the National University of Singapore in December 2023. Her research focuses on the evaluation of novel anti-cancer platinum therapeutics for colorectal cancer in 3D culture models. Since joining MDPI in November 2024, she has served as both Assistant Editor and Section Managing Editor for the journals Biomedicines and Pharmacoepidemiology under the “Pharmaceutical Sciences” Section. Additionally, Nicolette is the Ethics Editor for Biomedicines. |
