MDPI Open Insights— – Academic Publishing Workshop with Chung Yuan Christian University, 10 November 2026.

On 10 November 2026, MDPI will conduct two Academic Publishing Workshop (APW) sessions in collaboration with Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU), tailored to faculty members and students. The workshops aim to strengthen participants’ understanding of academic publishing, responsible research practices, and the peer review process.

Session 1: AI in Academic Publishing and Publication Ethics

Designed for faculty members, this session will explore the growing role of artificial intelligence in academic publishing, including its responsible use and ethical considerations. Participants will also learn about key principles of publication ethics and the importance of maintaining research integrity throughout the publishing process.

Session 2: From Manuscript Preparation to Peer Review

Tailored to students, this session will introduce the fundamentals of academic writing, including how to write and structure a scientific manuscript. It will also feature Review Process in Focus, offering insights into the peer review process, how manuscripts are evaluated, and the role peer review plays in maintaining the quality of scholarly publications.

Through these workshops, MDPI looks forward to engaging with the CYCU academic community and supporting faculty members and students in navigating the academic publishing landscape with greater confidence.
